The characteristics of yay thin rings
Fine rings are available in all-gold or all-silver versions, with or without natural stones and cultured pearls. They come in a variety of shapes, from simple minimalist rings to the elegant and poetic curves of our Half Moon and Helios rings, to the more graphic shapes of our crossed and twisted rings, always in a modern and timeless style . Our rings fit perfectly on the fingers to the point where you could almost forget you're wearing them! They are thin, light and designed to be resistant thanks to the choice of quality materials and the know-how of our craftsmen. Indeed, all our rings are carefully made by the power of the hand alone. Our jewelers practice the art of wire, a craft born from the encounter between a gold wire and fine stones, to offer you delicate and worked jewelry.
How to wear thin rings?
You can opt for a minimalist style by wearing one or two thin rings or play the accumulation card by dressing all your fingers. Little finger, thumb, phalanx, yay explores all the body's territories! We also like to superimpose thin rings on the same finger, with turnkey compositions like the Half-moon ring and Swan ring duo or compositions born from your creativity, which mix shapes and styles to create a unique look.
The possibilities for looks are endless, our rings are designed to create mix & match, you can change your ring look every day.
We advise you to vary the shapes and play with the volumes for a confident and harmonious look.
Chain rings: finesse and delicacy
If you are looking for a ring that combines finesse and attention to detail, we recommend our chain rings . They are made with chains with extremely fine links that give a delicate design. Chain rings are perfect to wear alone or stacked with other rings for a trendy look.
How to combine and stack chain rings?
Chain rings are versatile and can be mixed in different ways. For a discreet look, wear your chain ring alone on your middle or ring finger. If you are hesitant, we recommend our best-seller, the Stella cultured pearl chain ring . Timeless and elegant, it is the ideal chain ring to start your ring looks or make a beautiful gift. For fans of accumulation, chain rings are also designed to be stacked on the same finger, between them or combined with rigid rings.
Our tips and tricks for wearing a chain ring
If you've never tried a chain ring before, here are some tips. First, we recommend choosing a chain ring that fits snugly because the chain links can loosen slightly with use. When you put it on, it shouldn't pass over your knuckle by itself, otherwise you risk losing it.
Regarding the threading, the ring should fall naturally to one of the phalanges. Be careful not to tangle the links when sliding it so as not to narrow it. To pass the phalanx, do not slide it but gently pull on the chain and make it descend little by little around the finger. Just a little patience and you're done!
If it feels a little tight once in place, that's normal, it will naturally relax on your finger during the day. If you feel too much discomfort, it's too small.
The chain rings are, like all our jewelry, waterproof and designed to accompany you on a daily basis, so once put on, no need to take them off!
Phalanx rings for an original look
Complete your ring looks with phalanx rings , the trendy and original detail to wear on your fingertips. These small, thin rings slip onto the second phalanx of the fingers, like all our rings they can be worn alone or with rigid rings and chain rings. Don't be afraid of losing them, if you choose the right size, they will blend in with your fingers.
Wearing and Matching Knuckle Rings
When it comes to phalanx rings, the main thing is to have fun and express your creativity by wearing your rings the way you want. In a total look with a phalanx ring on the index, middle and ring fingers or just one for that little extra detail.
At yay we have several models of phalanx rings : double, single or with a cultured pearl, it's up to you to choose the nugget that will enhance your hands.
We also offer a twin ring to adorn the entire finger: a rigid ring connects a phalanx ring with a thin chain. Minimalist and trendy, this is the jewel that we recommend you try first to adorn the phalanx!
